COVID-19 Driving Lesson Safety | RED Driving School

Updated January 2026: All COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in the UK. Driving lessons and tests are operating completely normally.

Current Status

All RED driving lessons and DVSA driving tests are operating as normal across the UK. There are no COVID-related restrictions in place for learner drivers or driving instructors.

Historical Guidance

During the COVID-19 pandemic RED Driving School implemented enhanced hygiene protocols including vehicle sanitisation between lessons, provision of PPE equipment, and strict adherence to government guidance on social distancing and ventilation.

We followed all DVSA and government guidance throughout the pandemic and are proud of the safe environment we provided for both learners and instructors during this challenging period.
